Graham’s pond was completed a couple of years ago and holds 12000 gallons, measuring 27’ x 9’11” x 7’ deep.  It’s constructed in concrete block and finished with black fibreglass.

All the underground pipework is 4” and 1” pressure pipe, the returns are in 2” flexi pipe and 1½ black rigid.  Three Sequence pumps run the pond with 10 returns, of these returns 5 are working at any one time.  There are 2 x 4” bottom drains with air domes feeding the filtration which consists of 2 nexus 300 with eazys, 1 wide mouth skimmer with hydra, 2 x 55 watt pro-clear UVs and 4 air pumps (2 x Air-tech 40, 1 Medo 40 and 1 Hi-Blow 40).  All the valves are ball valves 2 x 4”, 5 x 2” and 10 x 1½.  

Heating is supplied by an 80,000 BTU Gas Boiler with under floor heating 100 meters of flexi heating pipe under pond floor.
