This edition of Ken’s pond (there has been two previous ponds) was built in 1996 and holds 6700 gallons including the filters.  This is a liner pond and the dimensions are 4 m x 3 m x 2 m deep.

Lee and Julie have two ponds.  The first one is a liner pond consisting of 2000 gallons, it has one bottom drain feeding a Cloverleaf 2 filter with a Sequence 750 pump and a 30-watt UV.

This pond has 3600 gallons and is constructed from brick with a liner.  The filters are fed by two 4-inch bottom drains leading to a vortex system comprising of Japanese Matting and Flocor.

This pond was built around 1996 and has 5500 gallons, it measures 21’ x 13’ x 4’ and is an informal shape.  It was built in blockwork, rendered and finished in fibreglass.
