This pond has 3600 gallons and is constructed from brick with a liner.  The filters are fed by two 4-inch bottom drains leading to a vortex system comprising of Japanese Matting and Flocor.

This is then followed by a Veggie filter and Protein Skimmer.  All this is powered with 1 x Aquamax 5500 and 1 x Mega pump 1.5hp pumping 2200 gallons per hour, which returns the water via a 1.5 inch in line venturi. A skimmer also helps keep the water clear.  In addition there are three 55 watt UVs and the pond is shaded by a pergola.
